Shady characters wander around a hotel straight out of a soap opera while tumultuous clashes ring out from the street. The lm stands out for its retro-looking sets built in an artist’s loft and the creeping sense of weirdness that permeates the whole thing. And never mind the noisy demonstrations taking place outside. Disconcerting, to say the least.IN COMPETITION
