Experimentation. Transcendence. Rapture.
GERMANY | 95 minutes | 2017
For her début feature, German filmmaker Helena Wittmann delivers a contemplative journey across the waves. After a weekend together on the North Sea, two women go their separate ways. One gets set to return to her family in Argentina; the other ventures to the Carib-bean, crossing the ocean aboard a raft. A powerful sensory experience that’s as acoustic as it is visual, the film uses breathtaking cinematography to immerse the viewer in the swells of the Atlantic.IN COMPETITIONPREMIÈRE NORD-AMÉRICAINEWith the support of GERMAN FILMS
