The fantastical world of French comics artist Arthur de Pins’s Zombil- lénium, the adventures of a bunch of very likeable monsters, comes to the big screen. Zombillénium is a theme park featuring real monsters — vampires, werewolves and zombies — for the entertainment of humans. There are bosses and workers, like in any business. When Hector, a nosy detective, visits the park, Francis, its vampire general manager, will do anything to protect its secrets. An exuberant romp combining class warfare, dry humour and the macabre that blows up Arthur de Pins’s vector art to full-screen size.
