A feature built on the intimate, existential journey of a young Bohemian. The film launched the career of the famous Québécois director and cinematographer. André drops out of his life in Montreal to meet up with his girlfriend in Istanbul, where he tries to talk her out of having an abortion. Turpin delivers an aesthetically destabilizing first act followed by a second act in which he first displays his legendary fascination with time.
