Spotlight on homegrown cinema
CANADA | 80 minutes | 2017
An unusual film dedicated to the maker of La Jetée, the most legendary of unknown filmmakers. With his experimental, evocative, poetic documentaries, Chris Marker (1921-2012) was one of the true innovators of the cinematic essay. A “Marker mystery” obsessive, Syned Sindrajed has made an enigmatic film in which a woman explores the nooks and crannies of her own memory, where she finds none other than the mysterious director. An inspired tribute, filmed around the world.Vlasta Vrana et Renée-Madeleine LeGuerrier will be attending.
