DENMARK | 92 minutes | 2012

A chronically shy bodybuilder is determined to find love, even if it’s to be found in a Thai red light district.
A wistful tale revolving around a 38-year-old gentle giant under the thumb of his controlling mother, this 2012 Danish film is about the struggle to overcome crippling shyness and take charge of one’s own happiness. Dennis’s massive physique hides a heart in pain, ready to move to the other side of the world to find love. An understated character study with a powerful emotional punch.
