Experimentation. Transcendence. Rapture.
CANADA | 16 minutes | 2017
Requiem Alain Laframboise (1947-2016) is a memorial, a work of video-music composed from multiple photographs taken by the artist while he was in transit in town or made from his own artistic work. Those photographs are animated by various compositing techniques by Louis Cummins following the rhythmics and the dynamic of the mixed musical composition (electro-acoustic, instrumental and vocal music) made by Xavier Charles Fecteau that suggests the technique of collage in hommage to the artist's leading practice.
