The beautiful if complicated love story between an invisible boy and a blind girl. A phantasmagorical fairytale or the sensitive reappropriation of a sublime sensibility.
What does it mean to see when love is pure? If Terrence Malick were to direct a fantasy tearjerker, bizarrely allegorical and loaded with eroticism, the result would probably be Mon ange. Nothing if not a challenge, filming the invisible in every sense of the word... Narrative simplicity as a way of rediscovering the magic of cinema.
