The great names in cinema
FRANCE , Portugal | 99 minutes | 2017
A cryptic police investigation is just part of the fun in this Noir punk expressionist post-apocalypse crime flick with its freewheeling plotline. Watch out for UFOs. Writer, musician and old-school punk FJ Ossang has been marching to the beat of a different drummer since the 80s, and his latest opus is yet another monument to the unclassifiable. A failed robbery, mysterious mobsters, a man on the run, a bundle of cash: such are the component parts of this film-slash-riddle whose metaphysical overtones are amped up by its luminously retro cinematography.IN THE PRESENCE OF THE DIRECTOR
