After 10 years as the star of the Tel Aviv-based Batsheva Dance Company, American dancer Bobbi Jene Smith decides to return home to launch her solo career as a choreographer. Lind zooms in on her subject’s questions, movements and the risks she takes. An experience of grace and a strong show of fighting spirit.

Born in 1981 in Copenhagen, Elvira Lind graduated City Varsity -School of Media and Creative Arts in Cape Town in 2006 majoring in documentary film and has spent the past 10 years working in all aspects of production, primarily within the field of documentary in UK, Denmark, Sweden, Israel, USA and South Africa. Bobbi Jene is Elvira ?s second feature length documentary film. In her recent years she has crossed over in the fiction field working with various international directors both during production and in the early script writing process. Elvira finished her first feature film in 2014 SONGS FOR ALEXIS, that premiered on IDFA, Doc New York, CPH:DOX and many more.
